ARTIST STATEMENT

Ordinary materials have a magical way of communicating with me, often surprising me with the creative outcome. I enjoy working with many different materials. Sometimes a material inspires me and leads me on a journey. Other times, an inspiration seeks a medium through which to present itself. It’s never predictable, yet always exciting and invigorating.

Early on in my artistic journey, I learned the invaluable lesson of not merely looking but truly seeing, making me aware that every detail holds significance, and every idea carries weight. This has inspired me in many ways, and through my art, I strive to capture the essence of the world around me, to distill its beauty and complexity into tangible form.
