Artist's Statement
As a Floral Designer by trade, I have always
enjoyed "playing with textures."
My mind is constantly looking at the various
forms and shapes that nature provides. A few
blades of grass or some leaves, my handmade
paper and printed textiles are blended with
solid materials to create my Floral and
Botanical Art Sculptures.
I tailor the Art to the client's specific
needs. It has to be noted, that each Design is
a "One of a Kind." Therefore, an exact copy is
not possible, due to nature's "twist"!
Although my work is sometimes described as
"playful and whimsical" it also has a deeper
meaning to me. It reflects a great sensitivity
to feelings, and echoes my respect of nature's
gifts.
