Artist's Statement:

The majority of my fiber sculpture works are crocheted, some representing objects such as food, some allegorical, some free-form sculptures integrating found natural objects, and a few entirely combined natural materials. Impressions from my travels are reflected in my art quilts. My mother taught me to crochet as a young child in Poland. Crocheting connects me to my childhood memories and to the stories she told me.
